Over the years, Ken, the real Teak Specialist, has put this feature molding on 40+ boats from 46 to 86 feet. This type of work requires a lot of patience, talent, and a keen eye... not a job for your average carpenter. We custom made a settee to replace a desk the owner removed on the portside and matched the starboard side. It is built with 1/2 inch marine plywood and covered with a thin layer of boat cloth, primed and painted with Imron to match the gel coat finish on opposite seat.
Below is teak work done on the deck, transom, freezers, cover boards, bulkhead, fly bridge cap rail...Ken has also completed this type of cockpits in different variations on over 40 boats.
